Our security practices
We take security seriously at bouncerlink. We use state of the art security practices to ensure that your data is safe and secure. No software is perfect, but we are committed to making sure that our software is as secure as possible. To protect your data, we use the following security practices:
- We use HTTPS to encrypt all data in transit.
Important security considerations for your implementation
- Do not expose your ApiKey for the bouncerlink, your Amazon Access Key or Amazon Secret Key in your frontend code. This could possibly lead to unauthorized access with your credentials. Instead, use a secure server to make requests to the Product Search API.
- Think about how you want to manage your ApiKeys. You can invalidate or create them using the Web UI or the API.
- If you have any questions about security practices you can contact us here
- Your API Key Slug is visible to everyone you share a link with. They can create links with your slug (They will all point to your associate tag, therefore you will still get paid if something is bought). To prevent abuse you should set a limit on the number of requests that can be made with your API Key and monitor your usage.
